I can't call it real horror. He's not very scary. By the way, the author is a genius, took the map with the school and made it darker.

thank you for your feedback.
Yes i am no 3d designer, some of the assets are not created by me.

All of the designers got their fair share.

Was pretty fun! It wasn't as scary as I think the title or the in game title said, but the environment and sounds really made it spooky and sold the dark aesthetics well! The work you put into the buildings outside of the school was impressive (A lot of games usually just have a void.) The work you put into the classrooms was also very cool! (Video below if anyone's interested!)

The phone messages was pretty neat but the phone I thought looked a bit weird at the edges, but having the other person give exposition was not bad; it gives the player incentive to explore. Maybe to expand on that, make more messages appear if the players take too long? It would make it scary as there would be random message notifications that would pop up, etc.

The two shadow kids that appeared were pretty cool but there was a lack of story behind them. It's not that hard to understand why there are ghosts there, but the lac of story behind the kids didn't make them scary but they did add to the environment overall! There was no build up to the scariness; maybe make the player roam around the school more or maybe the stuff they had is missing and they have to find it in another classroom; this would make players explore as well as add opportunities to add spooks and scares!

Also might want to change the title as the in game title was different than the one in the site.

The above are just suggestions and only my opinion, but it was a cool game in the end but could definitely be more! Great short game especially done for the first time!

thank you for your detailed feedback!

Short. Not bad, but ghosts don't creep me out or scare me. In fact I approached the crying one & stood by it for some time maybe in hopes to comfort it. Of course I'm not exactly normal either. Life tends to do that to some people... The "other" one was well placed & timed though. Had to look twice. Honestly just felt sorry for em' in the long run and wanted to help. The reflection on the TV is pretty good making it look on when it shouldn't be. Was almost waiting for one to actually turn on to white noise randomly when I went to the next room. hopeful almost even. That one shadow figure crying at the desk though needs a jump scare for any who approach. might of been better if that was the room the player had to go back to for the homework forcing the player to go near it.

Have the crying one scream like a banshee and fly through the player, move desks around, make papers randomly fly or something to wake up the panic response... Red eyes in a dark corner or a reflection might add to the terror (might be a little much/ possibly cartoony since it's been over used ((get general feedback on that one)). Large moving shadows that seem to come from nothing... Shadow figures are usually always creepy if they are barley glimpsed going into a place you have to go just to find nothing there. subtle screeching and writing on the chalk board. Things that get moved when the player isn't looking that they just looked at. Locker doors squeaking open the slamming closed. Eventually hopefully the entire building will be explorable. That's another thing that can add to fear. Large empty places kind of like haunted mansions... The more of the building that's explorable the more fear builds over time naturally without anything even happening just leading up to it. Some people are simply afraid of the fading light. Others of what's in the dark.

Just some ideas for starters. I've seen a lot... Some are silly, to others are terrifying. It all just depends on how scary you want to go. Everyone has nightmares one way or another. For me, I set aside my fear a long time ago. Fear tends to make people irrational...

For anyone else, any of those additions (obviously not all of them) should be a very creepy - terrifying experience. Just don't add to much. Some of the scariest places are simply empty when one is alone. That is absolutely true. Unless you're like me and prefer it that way for some weird reason. Guess that's why it doesn't really bother me... I've spent a lot of my life alone. I've seen things. Been around. Anyway, hope this feedback helps. Don't scare the kids too much. Being creepy is mainly harmless, traumatizing is not... It's bad enough we can hardly leave our homes as it is already... Just don't over do it is all I'm trying to say.
I probably shouldn't have given you any ideas lol...
